Student Council
The Student Council is student-led and aims to tackle issues faced by our student body, as well as assisting students financially through funding applications.
The Student Council decides how the money raised from non-uniform days and the annual Work Day is spent, whether this be given to a charity like Octacan, improving things around the schools like drinking fountains, picnic tables or basketball hoops for example, or put towards a funding request from a student or team.
The Student Council is made up of two representatives from each form class in every year level. These students decide on an Executive Committee which is made up of a President, Vice-President/Treasurer, Secretary, and the Student Representative on the Board of Trustees. The Executive Committee meets every week and discusses what needs to be accomplished and addressed in the upcoming weeks. They also lead the full Student Council meetings which meet two to three times each term.
