The Board of Trustees is made up of members elected from the Parent Body, the Senior Student Body, the Staff Body and the Principal. Their role is to set policy and to ensure that Taieri College is meeting its targets in terms of the National Curriculum and Taieri College’s Strategic Plan.
The Board of Trustees works in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Taieri College's teachers to ensure that student learning is optimised through the provision of sound policies and systems.

This is a collaboration between the Ministry of Education, the Board of Trustees and the Teaching Staff of Taieri College. A copy of the Taieri College Board of Trustees Charter can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
It sets out the strategic plan for the next three years. Each year the Annual plan is co-constructed based on evidence of learning from the previous year.
The Board of Trustees reports on the targets set in the annual plan each year to the school community. Board meetings are open to the public, and we warmly invite parents and whanau to attend. The Board of Trustees Secretary is Lynne Blackwood who can be reached through the college office on 489-3823.
