Taieri College Art Department

In the Visual Arts we balance essential skills with creativity through a wide range of media. Drawing, Painting, Digital Art Technology, Photography, Film, Sculpture and Printmaking all get a look in at some point.
We try to make the art room a happy and fun place to be, as art is enjoyable and feeds the soul at times! However it can be competitive with the individual always aiming for a higher outcome, and students competing against the National Standards at senior level.
We do well, and staff are truly dedicated to helping students find their best means of expression through visual media. Who are we? The teachers, students and support staff, all feed in and communicate with each other.
